About the School

Woolton Hill Junior School is a rural village school for girls and boys aged 7 to 11 years. It is maintained by the Hampshire Education Authority and was opened in 1977 following the amalgamation of Highclere and Woolton Hill Primary Schools. The school is set in 16 acres of land, surrounded by mature trees looking onto unspoilt open fields and woodland.

The idyllic setting gives children plenty of space to play and enjoy their surroundings. The school is a bungalow type design, with six classrooms planned around a central hall which is used for assemblies, physical education and other functions.
